Towards the end of June, Olivia and I went to South Carolina to see my family. There is really no direct way to get to Sumter, SC so we ended up having 3 layovers. Even though Olivia was an angel and did not make a peep on any of the planes, I don't think I will ever travel without Zach again. A week was too long to be apart and the traveling was exhausting, to say the least. However, once we got there we had a blast from the get go. I was able to meet my nephew for the first time. He was absolutely adorable. I am a pretty lucky aunt. My parents spoiled us with delicious food, shopping, and AC! It was also really special to be there because we were able to see my dad take over command of a squadron on the Air Force Base. It was a great ceremony and I am really proud of my dad. Overall, it was a great trip. I'll let the rest of the story be told in photographs.
